We are using legitimate interests as our basis for the processing of your personal data and the number of elements of the personal data we collect from you as these are required to enable us to fulfil our contractual duties to you or to HRUs clients.
When we receive personal data from you, we will then process that data to decide whether you meet the basic requirements to be shortlisted for the role. If you do, we will decide whether your application is suitable to invite you for an interview. If we decide to call you for an interview, we will use the data you provide to us at the interview to decide whether to offer you the role. If we decide to offer you the role, we may then take up references and/or any other check before confirming your appointment.
We may also collect, use and process the following data so as to provide the candidates and HRUs clients with information in relation to our products or services, carry out any obligations that may arise from the contracts entered into force, as well as to improve customer experience, promotional and marketing services:
It is our policy to limit the information collected to only the minimum information required to be able to provide our services for recruitment purposes.
How we share and disclose your personal information
We may share your information with business partners and third parties we are cooperating with and normally these parties will be our affiliated entities or HRUs clients. HRUs clients are subject to confidentiality provisions in their arrangements with us.
It is also our policy to disclose information to third parties under the following circumstances:
- As required by applicable law, statute, rule, regulation or professional standard, or through subpoena, search warrant or other legal process
- For regulatory compliance purposes
- When explicitly requested by the client

Our data retention period does not exceed the period of 2 years to cover the event of a possible legal claim, be able to evidenced that we have conducted our services in a fair and transparent way and in case there is a future vacancy fitting the profile of you as a candidate.
