HRus Partners (license number 414) on behalf of our client, a well-established Audit firm in Limassol, we are looking for an Accountant. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments into accounting software or ledgers.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to address any accounting-related queries or issues promptly and professionally.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Support the finance department with any additional tasks or projects as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably in an audit firm or similar environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of Cyprus accounting standards and regulations is an advantage.
