HRUs Partners (License No. 414) on behalf of our client, a well-established global regulated Broker, we are currently looking to hire a Senior Compliance Officer. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with at least three years of experience in compliance who is eager to ensure regulatory adherence and contribute to the company’s compliance framework.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidelines
- Monitor and assess regulatory developments to ensure ongoing compliance and recommend necessary changes to policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain an effective compliance monitoring program to assess adherence to policies and procedures
- Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues, including suspicious transactions, internal fraud, and breaches of regulations
- Provide advice and guidance to management and staff on compliance-related matters and ensure awareness of regulatory requirements
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs to enhance staff understanding of compliance obligations
- Coordinate with relevant regulatory authorities and external auditors to facilitate compliance audits and inspections
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings as required by local and international regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, risk management, and operations teams, to implement effective compliance controls
Qualifications:
- Degree in Law or any relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Compliance Officer within a CIF
- Cysec Advanced certificate
- Creative, critical thinker, excited to test yourself in one of the most competitive areas of the financial markets
- Interest in gaining knowledge of legal framework and requirements of CIFs
- Approaching work with enthusiasm and a desire to learn quickly
- Excellent organization skills, ready to multitask, operate under pressure in a challenging work environment
- Strong written and verbal skill in English and Greek language with attention to detail
- Capacity to see problems, address them, and take appropriate action
- Work well in a team and independently
