Compliance Officer
HRus Partners, on behalf of our client, a well-established company with an international presence which is currently in the process of applying for a VASP (Virtual Asset Service Provider) license with the FSA in Seychelles, is seeking to hire a Compliance Officer to join their growing team. Responsibilities include:
- Reporting directly to the Group Head of Legal & Compliance
- Monitoring and assessing compliance risks and drafting written reports
- Developing, designing, and updating the Company’s compliance procedures
- Collaborating with legal, compliance, and other departments to ensure enforcement of regulatory standards
- Handling client complaints or grievances and ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
- Preparing reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as required
- Reviewing and providing feedback on licensee quarterly reports
- Keeping abreast of current and forthcoming regulatory changes and advising management accordingly
- Monitoring and enhancing the Company’s compliance with FSA regulations and VASP requirements
- Assisting in the formulation and implementation of policies, manuals, and procedures
- Performing any other duties assigned by management
Education and experience:
- Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or a related field (minimum Upper Second Class or equivalent)
- Prior approval as a Fit & Proper Compliance Officer will be considered an advantage
- At least 1–3 years of experience in the Capital Markets, FinTech, or Virtual Assets sector
- Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory frameworks (AML, KYC, MiFID, VASP guidelines)
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills, high attention to detail, and professional discipline
- Fluent in English (additional languages will be considered an advantage)
