HRus Partners (license number 414) on behalf of our client, a leading Financial Advisory firm in Limassol, we are currently looking for a Compliance Officer. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to investment firms and other financial institutions throughout their licensing process, as well as ongoing compliance support to existing clients.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the licensing and authorization process of investment firms and other financial institutions (includes local and global licensing)
- Providing compliance and regulatory consultation support to number of clients that are authorized as an Investment Firm
- Assisting with the operational support of investment firms and other financial institutions
- Ensuring investment firms and financial institutions comply with the relevant laws and regulations as well as offering regulatory and compliance advice and solutions
- Communicating with clients and regulators with regards to ongoing support and authorizations
- Advising clients of the impact of regulatory changes in their operations and business
- Working closely with the senior compliance experts in the preparation and review of annual reports relating to Compliance, Internal Audit, AML and other related matters
- Assisting with the set up and implementation of internal policies and procedures of clients
Education and experience:
- Degree in Law or Finance, Economics or other related field with minimum Upper Second Class or equivalent
- Advanced CySEC certificate for the performance of various investment services will be considered an advantage
- At least 1 year of working experience in the Forex and CFD sector
- Updated knowledge of regulatory frameworks, ex. AML, KYC, MiFID
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills, attention to detail, professional discipline and strong work ethic
- Fluent in Greek and English. Any additional languages will be considered an advantage
