Compliance Supervisor
HRus Partners (license number 414) on behalf of our client, a leading Financial Advisory firm in Limassol, we are currently looking for a Compliance Supervisor. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to investment firms on regulatory compliance issues and facilitate communication between the firms and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the set up and implementation of internal policies and procedures of clients.
- Providing compliance and regulatory consultation support to clients that are authorized as Investment Firms,
- Ensure investment firms and financial institutions comply with the relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide advice and solutions to investment firms on regulatory compliance queries/issues.
- Communicate on behalf of investment firms with Regulatory authorities.
- Provide guidance and assistance to investment firms regarding client complaints.
- Work closely with the senior compliance experts in the preparation and review of annual reports relating to Compliance, Internal Audit, AML and other related matters.
- Review and analyze new regulations and advise how these are impacting investment firms.
- Develop compliance and AML training material and support ongoing compliance training to investment firms’ personnel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, from a reputable university, in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Law or any other related discipline
- At least 3 years of professional experience within the Financial Services Industry
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take ownership and provide solutions to challenges.
- Team spirit and willingness to study and develop.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communications skills both in writing and verbally in Greek and in English
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
- Advanced CySEC certificate for the performance of various investment services will be considered an advantage.
- Availability to travel on a frequent basis
