    Corporate Lawyer - Cyprus

    HRus Partners (license number 414), on behalf of our client, a well established and highly reputable Law Firm in Limassol, is seeking to recruit a highly experienced and driven Corporate and Commercial Lawyer. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with a proven track record in corporate and commercial transactions and advisory work to step into a challenging role with strong prospects for professional development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drafting and reviewing corporate and commercial agreements and documentation
    • Managing corporate procedures with the Cyprus Registrar of Companies
    • Providing legal advice and opinions on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters
    • Conducting legal research (Cyprus, UK and EU law)
    • Applying AML, KYC and GDPR procedures
    • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and maintaining strong relationships
    • Liaising with governmental and regulatory authorities in Cyprus and abroad
    • Collaborating with internal legal teams and contributing to firm initiatives

    Requirements

    • Minimum 4 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law
    • LLB (2:1 or equivalent); LL.M., BPTC or LPC will be considered an advantage
    • Cyprus Bar Association license
    • Fluency in Greek and English (additional languages are an advantage)
    • Excellent command of Microsoft Office

    Skills & Competencies

    • Strong ability to independently handle complex corporate and commercial matters
    • In-depth knowledge of Cyprus Companies Law and related legislation
    • Proven experience in a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions
    • Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Strong client-facing and communication skills
    • High standards of professional ethics, integrity and accountability
    • Self-motivated, team-oriented and proactive
