HRus Partners (license number 414) on behalf of our client, a leading European provider of digital asset infrastructure solutions, we are looking to recruit an ambitious, pragmatic, and result-oriented senior manager to support their strategic growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Implement the local strategy, in particular in terms of trading, underwriting, products and business development
- Supervise and manage business functions of the company, in particular clients, marketing and trading
- Ensure that the company maintains and implements an adequate internal control framework, monitor and manage the risk profile of the company
- Ensure that the company complies with its legal obligations, in particular to CySEC
- Monitor and manage the P&L of the firm; ensure that a robust ICARA has been established which is fully implemented and applied in the company and that each Function performs its ICARA-related duties accurately and concisely
- Organize Boards of Directors, report on a regular basis to the Board of directors and to the group
- Replace the General Manager, during his/her absence, in all his/her duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years working experience in the financial services industry
- Previous experience as Managing Director or General Manager for an investment firm regulated and supervised by CySEC – previously accredited as fit and proper Director by CySEC for a similar role
- Experience in setting up similar business from scratch
- Cyprus resident
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Finance, Economics or any other relevant field
- Experience in sales, trading and capital markets is preferred
- Interest and knowledge of digital assets and blockchain technologies
- Strong analytical skills, precise, organized, autonomous, open-minded, self-starter, fast-learner, hands-on and result-oriented
- Fluent in Greek and English, French a plus
