Hrus Partners (license no. 414), on behalf of our client, a well established Insurance Broker in Limassol we are currently looking for a Finance Manager.
Overview:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Responsibilities also include preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing cash flows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals. The Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and optimizing financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial planning, reporting and analytics support to help achieve business and financial objectives.
- Ensure financial reports, P&L, balance sheets, cashflows, and statistical analyses are accurate and produced in a timely manner.
- Collaborate across multiple functions and businesses at a senior level to resolve complex issues.
- Develop budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Oversee finance and accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, prepaid, payroll processing, monthly reconciliation, and monthly and year-end close, etc.
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to advise management on financial analyses, results, and recommendations.
- Ensure proper implementation of financial/Accounting processes and systems to maximize the quality of financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Review tax, duties and contributions’ calculations, and proper submission to the related authorities.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with all accounting policies and procedures.
- Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to the internal finance/accounting policies and procedures ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the company.
- Lead the communication with ICCS (Proper submission of required reports, etc.) and ensure compliance with tax regulations and other regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors on the preparation of the company’s audited financial statement.
- Direct and review the day-to-day job performance, tasks of the finance and accounting staff members.
- Provide support for business and operational decisions-making.
- Provide leadership to the Finance and Accounting department members; develop internal capabilities and mentor staff. Ensure adherence to the company’s policies and procedures
- Maintain up to date knowledge of regulatory requirements, local and international standards (Financial and accounting) related to financial matters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualification: Minimum bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
- Professional certification is preferred (ACCA, CMA, etc.).
- Minimum Experience: 3-5 years’ recent experience in a similar position.
- Languages: Fluent in English, Greek with excellent verbal and written skills.

- Experienced professional in Credit Control / Credit Collections
- Has background in Reinsurance or Insurance
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Good stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Keen to details, Meticulous and Hands-on.
