Head of Compliance (part time)
Location: Dubai, UAE
HRus Partners (license number 414) on behalf of our client, a leading foreign exchange (FX) company with a strong international presence, dedicated to providing exceptional services to its clients, we are currently looking for a Compliance Officer, to join their expending team.
The Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role involves the implementation and management of compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance on regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the company's operations comply with all relevant local and international regulations, including UAE financial rules and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and review compliance policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters and promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
- Monitor daily operations for compliance breaches and report any findings to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
- Lead investigations into any potential compliance violations and work with relevant departments to address and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, and investigations.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and best practices in compliance and financial crime prevention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Compliance Officer, preferably within the financial services or FX industry.
- Passed relevant UAE Financial rules and regulations exams.
- Certification in combating financial crime, such as those offered by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) or the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).
- In-depth knowledge of UAE financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and combating financial terrorism (CFT) practices.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with regulatory authorities, senior management, and staff.

Remuneration Package:
- Annual Salary: AED 96,000–108,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience).
