HRus Partners, on behalf of our client, a well-established consulting firm offering tax and audit services, is looking for an Accountant to join their team.
Key duties and Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping of client’s transactions.
- Maintaining proper books and records for clients.
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns, VIES reports and other VAT issues.
- Preparation of payroll and social contribution payments/ compliance.
- Preparation of tax returns (income tax, defense tax).
- Providing financial information and other reports to the clients.
- Reporting results of work performed to Director/ Manager.
- Reconciliation of banks, receivables and payables.
- Issuing and settlement of invoices.
- Communication with auditors and clients on issues related to audit.
- Handling correspondence with clients on issues related to accounting and administration.
- Supporting administrative department on various issues.
Requirements
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Experience as an Accountant in an Accounting/ Audit firm will consider as an advantage.
- Experience in VAT returns and knowledge of the Esoft Accounting software will be considered as an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and MS Outlook is a must.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Greek.
- Knowledge of another language will be considered as an advantage.
