HRus Partners (License Number 414) on behalf of our client, a well- established FX company in Dubai, we are currently looking to recruit a Legal Officer to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes in jurisdictions where the company operates, ensuring compliance with international trading laws, Financial corporate governance and Financial Services Authorities Regulations.
- Advise the company on ongoing compliance with applicable financial laws, anti-money laundering regulations, and other legal requirements specific to Forex trading.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with clients, partners, including trading agreements, financial service contracts, Brokers & Liquidity Providers agreements.
- Ensure all contracts are legally sound and aligned with international best practices.
- Identify potential legal risks in international business operations and provide strategic recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies related to Forex trading activities.
- Manage legal disputes arising from international trade and Forex transactions, coordinating with external counsel as necessary.
- Represent the company in negotiations, mediation, or arbitration processes related to international business transactions.
- Provide legal advice to senior management and various departments on international business matters, including cross-border trading, foreign exchange regulations, and tax implications.
- Conduct training for employees on critical legal issues related to international business and Forex trading.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; or specialized qualification.
- Experience in dealing with regulatory compliance issues related to Forex or financial markets is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in international business law, preferably within the Forex trading or financial services sector.
- High level of integrity and ethics in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and build positive relationships across teams.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in legal and business research tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
