HRus Partners (license number 414) on behalf of our client, an international FX Firm, we are currently looking for a Reconciliation Officer to join their expanding team in Limassol.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full payments cycle, including onboarding, optimizing, and integrating payment gateways and methods (e.g., credit cards, e-wallets, bank transfers).
- Oversee daily operations, including payment processing, reconciliations, settlements, and client transactions (e.g., deposits, withdrawals, and transfers)
- Conduct daily and monthly reconciliations of turnovers, client funds, and balances across payment platforms
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between platforms and banking providers
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including AML, KYC, and PCI-DSS standards
- Report suspicious transactions and implement anti-fraud measures
- Monitor fees and contractual terms with payment providers
- Troubleshoot payment-related issues in coordination with internal teams and external partners
- Build strong relationships with payment processors, financial institutions, and internal teams to facilitate smooth and efficient payment processes
- Develop and optimize flow-of-funds strategies for transparency and efficiency
- Identify weaknesses in current systems and procedures, recommending improvements
- Assist management with finance-related tasks and software implementation projects
- Support the accounting team by preparing and resolving financial reports and queries
What makes you a great fit:
- 3+ years in payment reconciliation operations, preferably in FX or fintech industry
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of payment gateways, chargebacks, and compliance regulations
- Experience with various payment methods and technologies
- Experience negotiating commercial terms and working with external partners
- Ability to manage multiple payment providers and integrate new ones
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
- Proficient in Excel, including advanced formulas
- Familiarity with anti-fraud tools and techniques is a plus
- Hands-on approach to managing tasks end-to-end
