About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our Consulting/Financial Advisory firm as a Director. This role involves acting as the Director for Securities Dealers entities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Capital Markets, a solid educational background, and strong leadership skills to ensure regulatory compliance and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities

- Act as the Director for client entities, including Securities Dealers, ensuring adherence to corporate governance principles.
- Oversee the strategic direction and operations of the entities under management.
- Represent the firm and its entities to stakeholders, including regulators, shareholders, and clients.
- Serve as the Public Officer, ensuring compliance with all legal, tax, and regulatory requirements in Seychelles.
- Liaise with the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) and other relevant authorities.
- Ensure the timely submission of regulatory filings and reports for the entities.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance on operations within the Capital Markets sector.
- Ensure that the entities comply with securities regulations and risk management practices.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes, advising on their potential impact on the business.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in onboarding new entities, ensuring due diligence and adherence to industry best practices.
- Coordinate with accounting, legal, and other professional teams to support the entities.
- Monitor the overall performance of the entities under management and implement strategies for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (a Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA or ACCA is a plus).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Capital Markets, financial advisory, or a related field.
- Proven track record of working with Securities Dealers or similar entities.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets operations and regulations.
- Proficient in financial reporting and risk management.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
