HRus Partners on behalf of our client, a well-established consulting firm in Seychelles, we are currently looking to recruit a self-motivated/ dynamic individual, having 2-3 years of Capital Markets experience to join their team as a Senior Compliance Officer.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the licensing and authorization process of investment firms and other financial institutions (includes local and global licensing)
- Provide compliance and regulatory consultation support to number of clients that are authorized as an Investment Firm
- Assisting with the operational support of investment firms and other financial institutions
- Ensuring investment firms and financial institutions comply with the relevant laws and regulations as well as offering regulatory and compliance advice and solutions
- Communicating with clients and regulators with regards to ongoing support and authorizations
- Advising clients of the impact of regulatory changes in their operations and business
- Work closely with the senior compliance experts in the preparation and review of annual reports relating to Compliance, Internal Audit, AML and other related matters
- Assisting with the set up and implementation of internal policies and procedures of clients
Education and experience:
- Degree in Law or Finance, Economics or other related field with minimum Upper Second Class or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in the Capital Markets Sector
- Updated knowledge of regulatory frameworks, ex. AML, KYC, MiFID
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills, attention to detail, professional discipline and strong work ethic
- Fluent in English. Any additional languages will be considered an advantage
