HRus partners, on behalf of our client a well-established firm in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a self-motivated and qualified Senior Corporate Lawyer to join their expanding team of professionals.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Providing legal advisory services for financial institutions and corporate clients.
- Performing legal research and drafting legal opinions for financial institutions and corporate clients.
- Drafting letters and/or notices for pre-litigation issues on behalf of financial institutions and corporate clients regarding disputes on commercial contracts, employment agreements etc.
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating corporate documents including SHA, SPA, Security Documents (share pledge/charge agreements, debentures, security assignment) resolutions, Instrument of Transfer, POA's, M&AA, Trusts, Escrow, Joint Venture Agreements, NDAs etc.)
- Incorporation of companies in Cyprus and other jurisdictions such as Seychelles, BVI etc.
- Preparation of documents for the corporate restructuring for the company and corporate clients.
- Drafting, implementing and enforcing policies, procedures, guidelines and manuals for the company and corporate clients in relation to applicable law and regulations.
- Everyday communication with international clients, service providers, regulators, authorities, agents, and banks.
- Supervise and mentor team members to ensure high-quality work delivery
Requirements
- University degree in Law (LLB) (with upper second-class or first-class honours)
- LLM or LPC or other postgraduate degree
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
- Knowledge and relevant work experience in the practice areas of the firm (financial and commercial)
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position is essential
- Excellent communication skills in English and Greek languages, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, work efficiently, follow procedures, and work independently
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- High professional standards and strong work ethic
Remuneration and Benefits
- Annual Salary: EUR 36,000- 42,000 gross per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)
